Education & Background
Dr. Nicolau is a fellowship-trained glaucoma surgeon with a strong medical and surgical background and significant experience in ophthalmology throughout Texas. He joins us from a large practice in San Antonio.
He completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University, earning a degree in Biomedical Sciences. From there, Dr. Nicolau obtained both his medical degree and completed his residency training at Texas Tech University School of Medicine. Following his residency, he went on to complete his Glaucoma fellowship at UT Southwestern in Dallas.

Dr. Nicolau has built a strong reputation for providing quality eye care, having practiced in various locations across Texas, including San Antonio and Corpus Christi during the past 18 years.
His expertise and commitment to patient well-being have made him a respected figure in the field of ophthalmology.
