Dr. Richard Chu is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the medical director of Chu Eye Institute in Fort Worth, TX. As a native Texan and part of a multi-generational eye care family, he is proud to offer expert, patient-centered care to the community he calls home.

Education & Background
Originally from the Bay Area of Northern California, Dr. Mor earned her undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, graduating with honors. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating Cum Laude.
Her clinical interests include:
- Children’s developmental and binocular vision
- Ocular disease management
- Patient education and prevention-focused care
Dr. Mor is an active member of the Tarrant County Optometric Society and the Texas Optometric Association, and she participates in outreach initiatives such as the InfantSEE program and the EyeThink campaign to raise awareness around public eye health.
Giving Back, Near and Far
Dr. Mor’s heart for service extends well beyond the clinic. She has led multiple eye care mission trips to Honduras and Bolivia, where she’s helped bring essential vision services to communities with limited access to care.
Her ongoing community involvement includes active membership in the Junior League of Fort Worth and the Colleyville Women’s Club, where she contributes her time to local service projects and women’s leadership initiatives.
Personal Life
From the Slopes to Scrapbooks
Outside of work, Dr. Mor loves spending time with her three daughters—Kaitlyn, Callie, and Kelsey—and their beloved Maltese, Fifi. She enjoys yoga, snow skiing, traveling, scrapbooking, and making memories with her family.
